The location of the hotel was absolutely stunning. It offered several little beaches and various relaxation areas with hammocks and swing chairs, perfect for unwinding. The snorkeling right from the hotel shore was incredible, with a plethora of fish and coral to explore. The staff and owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. The food served at the hotel was excellent, and the beds were comfortable, providing a cozy night's sleep.
The water pressure in the bathroom was a bit weak, requiring some patience while using the sink and shower facilities.

I recently stayed at Puntanorte on Tintipan Island for a few days to disconnect and relax. The owners, who have been living here for 36 years, shared their fascinating story with us. With only a few rooms, the hotel offered a peaceful atmosphere. The seafood was delicious, and I highly recommend going on the plankton tour.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more!

The secluded location of the hotel offered a truly tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. The friendly and accommodating staff made our stay extra enjoyable, always ready to assist us with any requests. We were delighted with the variety of tours and activities available, ensuring that we never had a dull moment during our stay.
Communication at the hotel could certainly be improved. We found it challenging to understand the options available for meals and breakfast, resulting in us receiving the standard menu unless we specifically asked for other choices.

The location of this hotel is truly amazing. It offers a remote and peaceful getaway, with stunning sunrises and sunsets that can be enjoyed right from the property. The staff are friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any needs or questions. The food is delicious, with fresh seafood and generous portions. The hotel provides a simple and rustic atmosphere, which helps to focus attention on the beautiful natural surroundings. There are plenty of hammocks and lounge chairs available for guests to relax and unwind.
The hotel did not fulfill a special request for a special occasion, which was a bit disappointing.

The view of the sunset from the bedroom was absolutely glorious. The staff at the hotel were wonderful, always in good moods and very helpful. The rooms were clean and basic, which was exactly what I expected. The location of the hotel was perfect, offering beautiful views of the surrounding areas. I loved having my own patio/deck by the water, it was so nice to relax and enjoy the amazing turquoise water.
The quality of the sheets on the beds was quite worn and could use an upgrade. There were a lot of kids running around all the time, which was a bit annoying considering the price point.

Snorkeling right off the hotel allows for amazing sea life discoveries. The owner and manager are friendly and always ready to assist.
In my stay, I had a special occasion, and although I mentioned it in my special requests, they didn't arrange anything special for us. However, I did see another table being decorated for someone else's celebration.

The stunning location of Puntanorte allowed for a serene and peaceful getaway. The breathtaking views and secluded paradise created a truly magical ambiance. The staff, particularly Sofia and Oscar, were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. The fresh seafood, especially the pescado del dia, was absolutely delicious. The abundance of tour options and activities made it easy to explore and fully experience the island. I also appreciated the effort to maintain cleanliness in the room during our stay.
During the hot nights when there was no breeze, the fans in the room didn't provide enough relief, making it a bit uncomfortable. Additionally, it would have been helpful to have curtains in the bathrooms and floormats in the rooms to keep the floors dry and prevent sand from getting everywhere.
